The Carson Foundation was named after fifteen year old
Brian Carson and his family.

Brian was diagnosed with Autism at the age of three. As Brian grew older his behaviours became more of a challenge for his mother Angie. When Brian reached his teenage years and his behaviours began to escalate, Angie started to look for other options to help her keep her son living at home with his family. Unfortunately as Brian grew older, Angie was unable to care for him on her own, and she began looking for long term options outside of the home. Brian was placed in a not for profit organization that supports high needs children and teenagers with Autism. Brian still lives with the organization, and Angie visits him twice a week and he spends his weekends at home. Brian has shown remarkable progress in managing his behaviours and he is now able to participate in community activities. It was Angie's determination of ensuring that all of Brian’s needs were met so that he could develop to his highest potential that inspired The Carson Foundation. We continue to work hard and use The Carson family as the foundation that encourages us to strive towards our goals and objectives.
